On August 3rd, we gather in community for an Epic Cacao & Sound Ceremony—a lush, multi-sensory journey guided by a circle of experienced practitioners in one of the most energetically charged spaces in the city.
What is a Cacao Ceremony? Rooted in ancient Mesoamerican traditions, a cacao ceremony is a heart-opening ritual that uses ceremonial-grade cacao — pure, minimally processed chocolate — as a plant medicine. Cacao is revered for its ability to gently energize the body, expand consciousness, and foster emotional healing. During the ceremony, we sip the sacred brew in intentional silence or guided meditation, connecting deeply to ourselves, each other, and the wisdom within.
What is a Sound Bath? Following the cacao ritual, allow yourself to fully melt into the frequencies of a curated sound bath — a meditative immersion in harmonious soundscapes. Using crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, and other vibrational tools, our sound healers will guide you into deep rest, nervous system recalibration, and energetic realignment. It’s a sonic experience that touches the soul and leaves you feeling profoundly restored.
The Experience: This will be a collaborative ceremony featuring a dynamic team of seasoned facilitators — sound healers, energy workers, and ceremonial space holders — all here to co-create a sacred container for transformation, release, and activation. Whether this is your first experience or you’re a seasoned ceremony-goer, you are welcome exactly as you are.
